Chamber Means Business Event 2015

The chamber means business event 2015 was held on Wednesday 16th September 2015 at the majestic Wentworth Hall. Around 60 businesses turned up to show off their wares with a mix of local authorities, high tech companies and professional services in abundance. Kinspeed decided this year to come away from the Sage software exhibition and instead showed our new Mozy cloud back up services and our unique free e-commerce sites.

Myself and Abbi set up on the day before so we wouldn’t have to be too busy in the morning, so it was nice to arrive stress free in the morning and wait for the ensuing mass of visitors waiting to charge in when the doors opened at 9.

The setting was marvellous with beautiful floors and ceilings abounding. There were statues behind many of the tables. Abbi is very interested in these sculptures and made a b-line to check each one of them out.

The footfall was steady but not too demanding on us, so we managed to have good long conversations with people who visited the stand as well as being able to engage and network with 60 other exhibitors. We met many really nice people during the day but special mention needs to go to Lauren Ellaway at Holiday Inn Express who begged a hoody off us because she was so cold, Caroline Travis from recruit human who promised to recruit an administrator free of charge, and Sally Bladen from the NHS who modelled and made off with most of our merchandise !

Looking forward to next years event already !
