Nominal Ledger

Nominal Ledger: This option gathers data from all the other ledgers and provides management reporting functions, such as the Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet reports. Within the nominal ledger, you can:

  • Store individual nominal account records.
  • Define up to 20 accounting periods.
  • Operate an accounting system based on Open or Closed period accounting principles.
  • Create annual budget profiles based on monthly % splits.
  • Graphically analyse and present the current and up to 5 years' historical figures, in terms of budgets and actuals.
  • Easily create nominal accounts based on account number, cost centre and department.
  • Analyse transactions to department, cost centre and an additional custom analysis code.
  • Attach a file to a nominal account (eg. word processing documents, images and spreadsheets).
  • Use the batch journal entry facility. 
  • View your VAT return, drilling down to individual transactions if required.
  • Post items to individual nominal accounts and then group your nominal accounts for analysis purposes. 
  • Use the drill-down facility to analyse nominal ledger data by individual entry.
  • Create memorandum accounts in the nominal ledger. 
  • Set up pre-payments and accruals.
  • Use the unlimited transaction history storage facility.
